Dr. K.L. Shunmuganathan is an illustrious Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Jaya Group of Institutions. He has a wide experience in Teaching, Research and Administration for more than 31 years. He earned his Ph.D Degree under the Faculty of Information and Communication Engineering, Anna University, Chennai in the area of AI and DBMS. He holds Masters Degree in Computer Science Engineering in Arulmigu Kalasalingam College of Engineering, Krishnan koil in the year 1998 and Bachelor degree in Computer Science Engineering from Bharathidasan University, Trichy. He started his teaching career from a reputed Technical Institution as a Lecturer in the year 1991. Then, he served as a Lecturer (Senior Grade), Assistant Professor and Professor & Head in a reputed Engineering College from 1991-2005. He has been working in Jaya Group of Institutions since 2022. He is recognized supervisor in Anna University, Faculty of Information & communication Engineering. He has produced 30 Ph.Ds and published 71 Scopus journals, web of science 65 journals and SCI 11 journals. He has held various administrative positions in Engineering colleges including Deputy Director, Principal. He was instrumental in bringing Outcome Based Education.
