The Jaya Group of Institutions has been a stable constituent of the higher educational space for a longer period of time, taking care of the intellectual cultivation of young generation who present not only the strengths of tradition but also a hope facing the future.

The JAYA GROUP OF COLLEGES has a high reputation of providing quality education from matriculation to postgraduate level and is one of the foremost groups of accredited educational institutions in Tamil Nadu. With her strong commitment to social inclusion, the group has established access pathways to meet the diverse needs of the student population, inspired by the belief that higher education should be available to all those with the potential to succeed. We have an international outlook. We welcome scholars and students from across the globe, and our own alumni can be found all over the world. We actively promote collaboration with foreign universities, academic bodies and research institutions. Our group of colleges has been involved in international cooperation and partnerships since 2000. Since then we have been open to cooperation and have extended the network of engineering, business, technology and dental schools in Europe and North America with which we have exchange agreements. Presently, we have agreements with University of Applied Sciences of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI); Vaal University of Technology, South Africa; Koge Business College, Denmark; Durban Institute of Technology, South Africa; Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, USA; Penn State Dental School, USA; Chonbuk University, Korea; etc. It is expected that such collaborative activities will lead to an increasing flow of students and faculty, both incoming and outgoing, between the Jaya Group and foreign universities. This is also expected to open new avenues for joint research and joint development of appropriate publications.

The Group sees a future task for their engineering institutions in presenting and implementing developments in the engineering pedagogy with that field’s constantly innovating technical possibilities where the focus should primarily be on methodology, and then on the curricula. After some serious deliberations with faculty, a proposal is being finalized.

A very important issue that this proposal will consider is the teachers and their education and training. We have thought that our teachers must have the opportunity to participate in training courses that would focus on general pedagogy as well as on subject matter, special (subject specific) didactics and training in the utilization of information and communication technologies in the teaching and learning process. We believe that it is time to start technical teacher training based on the proven IGIP concept, because it is in high priority for us to bring our technical education international level.

This is truly the exciting time in the future of our group. We are poised to take dramatic steps forward in advancing the quality of education and research that will significantly enhance our reputation and standing among our peer institutions, and ensure true recognition for our academic entities and their faculty and students.
