NSS Activities

• SWATCH BHARATH ABHIYAN( CLEAN DRIVE PROGRAM)
  Organized Swatch Bharath Abhiyan (Clean India) Campaign in and near Govt. General Hospital, Tiruttani on 14.11.2014


• BLOOD CAMP:
  Organized Blood Donation camp in our campus on 30-10-2014 in association with Government Hospital Tiruvallur - Came in Dhinakaran and TamilMurasu News papers. Total Students participant 60.


• NSS CAMP KANDHA SHASTI FUNCTION
  We Organized NSS Campaign in Tiruttani Murugan Temple (29.10.2014) in view of Kandha Shasti function. Total no of participant 24 Students. The above program was inaugurated by Prof. Dr.N.Ganesh, Principal of JIT


• RALLY:
  Organized a rally with the participation of NSS, YRC students on the topic “Rain Water Harvesting” on 29-10-2014 from R.K Pet to Ammayarkuppam, Tiruttani.


• FIRE SAFETY AWARENESS
  Organized Fire Safety Rescue Awareness Programme in collaboration with Tiruttani Fire Service Department personnel on 18-10-2014


• “Blood Donation Camp” in association with Indian Red Cross, Thiruvallur district on 19th July 2008
• Guest Lecture on “Improving Self Confidence” for NSS students on August 4 by Prof. Shankaran.
• “Gandhiji Jeyanthi Peace Rally” on October 2nd at Tiruttani.
• “Eye Camp” at Koormavilasapuram village, near Thiruvalangadu on 20th September 2008.
• “Celebration of Pongal Festival” in an orphanage on Jan 7, 2009, at Mangalamkizhar orphanage.
• 7 days special camp organized by NSS unit at Kaverirajapuram village near Thiruvalangadu from 21.02.09 to 27.02.09.
• “Medical Camp” at Kaverirajapuram on 25.02.09.
• “AIDS Awareness Rally” on 26 Feb 2009 at Thiruvalangadu.
• “Blood Donation Camp” in LCRCET on 16.03.09 by NSS Unit and RRC.

YRC/RRC Activities

An YRC / RRC operate in our college to bring awareness in the youth.

• MOU:
  Signed an MoU with Steinbeis Solar Research Centre, Chennai on September 20 2014. In continuation to that my team in the research centre.


• CONCLAVE:
  Conducted an in house conclave for my staff members on 05th September 2014.. Topic: What is important for a Professional: Technical Skill? :: Communication Skill?


• CAMPUS PLACEMENT DRIVE:
  Organized a campus placement drive by a startup firm named, "Calenture Eventz", in which fourteen of our students got placed for a package of 2.4 Lakhs per annum.


• A 3 days RRC Training camp was attended by our staff member and student representative at Anna University.
• A one day workshop on RRC training programme was attended by one staff member at Jaya Arts and Science College
